Township tuck shops do not have a delivery service such as Uber Eats or Mr Delivery. We developed a system called Kasi Eats, which is a food delivery service that provides a delivery capacity for township tuck shops.
Kasi Eats approves the tuck shop owners to become our Partners, who will upload their menu to the system so that customers will view them. The system provides a platform for customers to order food from their favourite local tuck shop. A customer selects a tuck shop and adds the food items to their cart and places an order to the tuck shop of their choice.
The Partner will accept the order, prepare it and wait for someone to collect the order. The system helps to create employment by having township people work for them as Riders by delivering food. A Rider accept an order and goes to the tuck shop to collect the food. After the meal is finished the Partner confirm on the system that the order has been collected by the Rider. The Rider delivers the food to the customer and finishes the order by recieving a one-time password from the customer.
